John’s construction experience started as a kid when he worked as a plumber’s helper in the family owned Plumbing Contractor business.  

John’s experience includes 20 years of owning a successful hot shot delivery service which ended after suffering a career ending injury in 1997.  

After numerous surgeries and rehab in 2000 John got involved in the mortgage business and operated a successful mortgage banking business from 2000 to 2005. 

John closed his mortgage banking office in 2005 and got involved in the insurance industry as a Project Manager, Estimator, and General Contractor working hurricanes and hailstorms.  His business and work experience give him the knowledge in knowing what it takes to manage and rebuild a structure from the ground up.  

As a Project Manager, Estimator, and General Contractor his work experience includes rebuilds from catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina, Ike, and Irene as well as the Phoenix, Arizona and Wichita, Kansas catastrophic hailstorms. 

In 2012, as a General Contractor, John recognized that Consumers were not being treated fairly in getting paid properly on their insurance claim.  This need led him to take up the role of a licensed Public Insurance Adjuster where he could better serve his community to get Consumers the proper repair money they deserve.  

John is licensed as a Public Insurance Adjuster in the State of Texas and Oklahoma, he has settled over a thousand claims.  He is a WIND Certified Appraiser and Umpire.  John’s 15 years of experience in working in the insurance industry has made him an expert, one who Attorneys call on to help with their cases.

Don grew up in the Texas Panhandle. His home grown experiences of small town USA has helped build his moral base and can do it attitude. Living in the Texas Panhandle where catastrophic weather events occur frequently has been the driving force that has led him to where he is today as a Public Insurance Adjuster. 

The first time he worked in a major weather related event was April 1979 as a volunteer during the Red River Valley tornado catastrophe that devastated the City of Wichita Falls, Texas. Out of that catastrophic event Don started his career in construction in 1984 as an apprentice operator working with heavy equipment.

In the late 80's Don left the heavy equipment business and took a management position with Lone Star Lubricants working as a training manager, Don's shop was the test shop for all trainees to be trained in.

After his tenure with Lone Star Lubricants, Don spent 10 years selling cars for the Van Tuyl Auto Group working his way up in the ranks. 

In 2004, Don left the Van Tuyl Group and opened up Ogden Real Estate where he was involved in rehabbing property, remodeling single family homes, and helping families with their credit issues so they too could one day become a proud Homeowner. 

For more than 12 years, Don has been involved in the roofing and property claims industry. His focus and commitment in helping others led him in 2018 to become a licensed Public Insurance Adjuster whose priority is to represent property owners in getting their claim issues resolved.
